Jose Liberman co-founded Liberman Broadcasting, Inc., a California corporation, in 1987 together with his son Lenard Liberman. Mr. Liberman has served as LBI President and Member of the Board of Directors since the company's formation. Mr. Liberman began his radio broadcasting career in 1957 by purchasing XERZ-AM in Mexico, and establishing his own radio advertising representative firm. In 1976 Mr. Liberman acquired KLVE-FM, the first Los Angeles FM Spanish-language station.
