Don't let the door hit you on the way through...

Well, looks like Liberman has left another victim in its wake. After leaving Telemundo in May of 2008, Ibra Morales is gone, after just a few short months.

Hispanic Market Weekly is reporting that:
The veteran executive resigned last week, in a mutual decision. Morales joined Liberman to assist in the launch of Estrella TV, the company's forthcoming television network.
MediaWeek has more details:
Veteran TV broadcaster Ibra Morales has been tapped by Katz Television Group to head up a new national marketing unit as senior vp. The new group will focus on creating customized multi-platform campaigns for national advertisers and their agencies.

"This new team offers us an unprecedented opportunity to champion local television's extraordinary advertising impact, reach and flexibility to marketers across the advertising spectrum," said Jim Beloyianis, president of the Katz Television Group.

Morales isn't new to Katz, where he served as president of Katz TV's Eagle Television Sales from 1999 to 2002. Most recently, he served as vp of network operations for Estrella TV, Liberman's new Hispanic TV network. Prior to that, he was president of the Telemundo Station Group and senior vp of sales for Hearst Television.
